Farm Accident & Sickness Scheme
Farm Relief Trained Operators will ensure that your farm runs efficiently without you, leaving you time to recover and recuperate.
There are two cover options available to choose from:
A) Benefit of 50% of the Farm Relief cost up to a maximum benefit of €300 per week
Premium €205 p.a.
B) Benefit of 75% of the Farm Relief cost up to a maximum benefit of €500 per week
Premium €410 p.a.
Benefits will be paid whilst a member is certified as unable to work up to a maximum period of 51 weeks. The first week is excluded.
FASS: Farmer Accident & Sickness Scheme
Developed by Farm Relief Services (FRS) for Farmers.- Available to any farmers under the age of 65 years who join FRS, subject to acceptance to the insurers
- No medical examination is required
- Simply complete the FASS Proposal Form, which FRS will then forward to the insurers on your behalf
- Benefits start after the first seven days and will continue for as long as you are certified unable to work, up to a maximum of 51 weeks.
